UPDATE (3-16-11) -- A reward up to $500 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the U-M Department of Public Safety at (734) 763-1131 or the University's Anonymous Tip Line at (800) 863-1355.

UDPATE (3-15-11) -- The Ann Arbor Police are looking for additional information as to the identity of the suspects involved in the sexual assault of a student that occurred around 1 am Saturday (March 12).
The assault occurred in the walkway that runs between the Forest St. Parking Structure and the Galleria Mall, which houses Starbucks and Pinball Pete's.
Several males were in the group that assaulted the student. All are described as white males, 20-24 years old. One male has brown wavy hair. Not everyone in the group participated in the assault.
Police currently are reviewing surveillance video obtained from area businesses. Evidence obtained during the investigation will be forwarded to the Michigan State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
The Ann Arbor Police Department is requesting that witnesses to this assault, or anyone with pertinent information, come forward. You can remain anonymous. As told to the Ann Arbor Police, a student said she was walking alone on the north side of the structure when she was pushed to the ground by four unknown males. One male assaulted her. They fled in an unknown direction.
