NEWS Fuller Road Reopened after Vehicle Crash
Fuller Road, near the Fuller-Mitchell fields and parking lot, was reopened today (Sept. 3) around 7:53 a.m. to all traffic following an early morning single vehicle crash. A 60-year-old staff member at UMHS was driving into work westbound on Fuller Road at about 5:13 a.m. when he suddenly veered across all lanes of traffic, jumped the curb and crashed into a DTE switching station box. It is unclear at this time what caused the accident. Once DTE could turn off power to the station, the Ann Arbor Fire Dept extricated him from the vehicle and he was taken to the UM ER for evaluation.
