FREE Safe Child ID Program at home U-M football games

The safety of all patrons at University of Michigan football games is our greatest priority. This especially is true of our youngest fans. With the large crowds we experience at Michigan Stadium, occasionally a parent and child become separated. Help us make the reuniting process easy and fast!

1. Obtain a special FREE Maize N' Blue Child ID wristband from a DPS employee at a Stadium gate or stop by the POLICE office at the north end of the Stadium (between gates 8 and 9).

2. Write your cell phone number (if you have it with you) or your seat number on the wristband and attach it to your child's arm.

3. Instruct your child that if he/she becomes separated from you, they should ask an usher to find a police officer. As you enter your section, show your child how to find a Stadium usher (they wear yellow jackets with "EVENT STAFF" printed on the back).

If you become separated from your child,

1. Remain calm.

2. Select an option:

    a. Find stadium usher (wearing a yellow EVENT STAFF jacket) or police officer.

    b. Go to the POLICE office at the north end of the Stadium (between gates 8 and 9).

    c. Call the University Police at 734/763-1131.

We're here to help you and your child have a True Blue Michigan Experience. Go Blue!
