Secure Portal

The Department of Public Safety is introducing a new feature of its Web site to provide secure communication of information to University of Michigan members about their facilities and areas.

Using a UMICH Kerberos password, registered users may login to the secured portion of the public website.

This project is a development phase and more information and features will become available in 2009.

NOTE: All Department of Public Safety computer systems are for authorized use only and are subject to monitoring at all times to ensure proper functioning of equipment and systems including security devices and systems, to prevent unauthorized use and violations of statutes and security regulations, to deter criminal activity, and for other similar purposes.

If monitoring of this or any other Department of Public Safety computer system reveals possible evidence of violation of criminal statues, this evidence and any other related information, including identification information about the user, may be used for law enforcement actions.
